More About Moore

United Methodist Women National Mission Institution Moore Community House is featured in our January 2015 issue in the story “A Head Start.” Moore provides high quality, affordable child care in an economically depressed area.

In 2014 Moore celebrated 90 years of helping neighbors, and in 2013 it was recognized by Mississippi Kids Count as a success story.  (Watch the video and you may recognize some faces from our March 2013 story as well.)

Moore also offers the program Women in Construction, giving a whole new meaning to the term “homemaker”:
